Glow attended MULTIMODAL 2017 at Birmingham NEC earlier this month. It's the UK and Ireland's premier freight transport and logistics supply chain event.
A busy and well attended exhibition, attracting nearly 10,000 visitors, the show was largely dominated by Ports, having the biggest and most prominent stands in the hall. The broad horizontal spectrum of transport modes including sea, road, rail, air and inland waterways were all well represented.
The seminar programme was detailed - Multimodal 2017 teamed up with the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT), the United Kingdom Warehousing Association (UKWA), the Food Storage & Distribution Federation (FSDF) and the Freight Transport Association (FTA) and put together a programme of workshops, masterclasses, and panel discussions tackling the issues and trends affecting supply chain decision makers.
Glow enjoyed productive discussions with the transport industry about our expertise in transport systems and positioning as a transport app developer.
