Glow has been selected to deliver two high profile international projects on behalf of the Permanent Mission of the Holy See in Geneva, as part of plans to develop and strengthen its communications work.

The Permanent Observer Mission of the Holy see to the United Nations in Geneva was established by Pope Paul VI on February 1st 1967. The Mission is also an Observer to the World Health Organisation, World Trade Organisation, the Conference of Disarmament and a Member of the International Organisation for Migration and of the Executive Committee for the Agency for Refugees.

His Excellency Archbishop Ettore Balestrero, Apostolic Nuncio, is the Permanent Observer of the Holy See to the Offices of the United Nations in Geneva. He is also the Permanent Representative of the Holy See to the international fora where the Holy See participates as a Member or State Party in Geneva.

Glow has begun work modernising the digital footprint of the Permanent Mission with a new website and refreshed branding expected to be launched this Summer.

In parallel, Glow will also be working on a similar brief for the Caritas in Veritate Foundation which aims to make the positions of the Catholic Church more understandable and visible at the international fora in Geneva.

Informally described as a “Think Tank”, the Foundation is engaged in examining the most challenging matters of our time through the lens of Catholic Social Doctrine, for example:

  1. Artificial Intelligence - Human Fraternity in Cyberspace
  2. Universal Access to Medicines - Ethical Reflections on Ending Paediatric HIV
  3. Nuclear Deterrence - An Ethical Perspective

This website is expected to be launched later this Summer.

Phil Blything said: Glow are honoured to be entrusted with these projects, which represent the Holy See and its work within the United Nations.
