BarCamp is an international network of user generated conferences - open, participatory workshop-events, whose content is provided by participants — often focusing on early-stage web applications.
Thoms presentation, “How to Hack” drew some attention, focussing on common attack vectors used by hackers in breaching web applications from the point of view of how to avoid security breaches.
Phil’s presentation “Web Biology 101” took a look at how the web has evolved over the last 10 years, the similarities they have with natural systems and what disciplines such as Ecology, Population Dynamics and Behavioural Ecology can tell us about the future of the web.
