World famous Liverpool Cathedral proudly launched its new website this month with help from Liverpool digital agency, Glow New Media.
The cathedral was designed by Giles Gilbert Scott who also designed the great symbolic red Telephone box and so the new website had to live up to exacting aesthetic standards.
Phil Blything, director of Glow said "Liverpool Cathedral is iconic. It dominates the skyline and for a UNESCO World Heritage skyline, that's impressive! The website absolutely had to live up to that. We focused on the architecture itself and that really comes through."
"The Cathedral is a living, working church and more important than the aesthetics was making sure that the website properly represents the Cathedrals diverse communities, its status as an award winning visitor attraction and most importantly, spirituality and God"
Stuart Haynes, Media Manager for the Cathedral said "we are delighted with our new website which represents a diametric leap forward for us. The new site will enable our visitors to access up to date information about the life of the Cathedral much more easily and swiftly."

The new website bolsters Glow's tourism and culture portfolio which also boasts names like Visit Chester & Cheshire, Merseyside Maritime Museum and Tate Liverpool.
