Nottingham Cathedral

Cathedral Church of St Barnabas is a Grade II* listed building in the heart of Nottingham City Centre.

Designed by the renowned architect Augustus Welby Northmore Pugin, it was dedicated in 1844 and raised to the status of Cathedral in 1850. Pugin, a key pioneer of the Gothic Revival architectural style, also helped design the interiors of the Houses of Parliament. His works sought to bring the richness, colour and detail of the Middle Ages back to life, in the early Victorian period.

The Brief

Modernise the cathedral website

Having won the prestigious National Lottery Heritage Fund award to restore the works of  A.W.N. Pugin within the cathedral, it was important to bring those architectural treasures to a digital audience.

The Result

A new cathedral website celebrating renewed glory

Glow created a cathedral website, featuring the unique and marvelous work of AWN Pugin. The cathedral team are now in the driving seat, able to easily control their digital communications and take advantage of a quantum leap forward in technology and user experience.
