SafeTeam gets Superconnected

Ian Coyne opens the Supperconnector Event

Glow / SafeTeam took part in the exclusive HealthTech SuperConnector event as part of London Tech Week.

Phil Blything, CEO of Glow / SafeTeam, joined an influential cohort of founders and innovators at the Hale House HealthTech SuperConnector event organised by Coulter Partners. The gathering brought together leaders shaping the future of digital health, and NHS Innovation Accelerator (NIA) fellows.

Managing Partner at Coulter Partners, Ian Coyne focussed the event on bridging the capital, capability, and customer gaps to accelerate healthcare innovation.

SafeTeam Guardian, now adopted across health and community services, has become a defining example of how user‑centred technology can transform frontline safety. As an NIA innovation fellow, Blything represents a select group of innovators chosen for their potential to deliver system‑wide impact. The fellowship has amplified SafeTeam’s reach, enabling deeper collaboration with NHS organisations and accelerating the platform’s evolution into a critical safeguarding and lone‑worker protection tool.

At Hale House, Phil engaged with NHS clinical leaders, investors, and fellow founders exploring the challenges facing the next wave of healthtech adoption. The event’s intimate, high‑calibre format created space for strategic conversations about scaling digital safety solutions, integrating real‑time risk intelligence, and supporting overstretched frontline teams. For SafeTeam, these discussions aligned directly with its mission: protecting the NHS frontline.

While Glow continues to support digital transformation across sectors, our focus at Hale House was firmly on SafeTeam and shaping national safeguarding innovation.

Phil Blything said:

"Frontline safety is no longer a peripheral concern but a core component of modern healthcare delivery. SafeTeam Guardian’s trajectory within the NHS Innovation Accelerator demonstrates how thoughtful, purpose‑built technology can support the community shift, 10 year plan and measurably make our workforce safer."
