Glow is delighted to announce that Affect.AI is the winner of our first HealthTech UX prototyper competition.

Affect.AI aims to transform depression care by robust, voice-based mood monitoring to tackle the heterogeneity of depression. They aim to empower patients to better recognise relapse, and help clinicians tailor management.

Judges included Hill Dickinson, Health foundry, Kent Surrey Sussex AHSN, Innovation Agency, STFC HealthTech Cluster, Datalla and Brunswick Medical.

Glow will be working with Affect.AI to create the UX prototype for their groundbreaking HealthTech AI.

Phil Blything said: "It's an amazing time for HealthTech right now. It's a difficult market to commercialise in - one of the most difficult. Regulation, clinical evidence, speed of travel, complexity, data sensitivity, ethics are just some of the barriers to innovators looking to market healthtech products. Having commercialised our own SaaS into NHS, we have a keen understanding of just exactly how difficult it is. That's why we created the HealthTech UX Prototyper Programe and we're looking forward to helping more innovators and clinical entrepreneurs over the coming months."

The UX prototyper competition is open for the next round.
