There are many different browser types and versions across many different devices, and no two web browsers (or versions) have the same feature implementation.
This makes it impossible to render a website identically in all browsers.
Below is our cross browser testing policy, most of our clients request this additional testing so that their site is usable by as many website users as possible. If you would like us to carry out cross browser testing for your website please ask and we will add this as a separate cost to your quote.
Cross Browser Testing Policy
Browsers We Test With
If you have purchased cross browser testing then we will ensure that our team carries out testing with the following browsers from a windows machine.
- Edge
- Chrome
- Firefox
- Safari
We will carry out testing with one version of each browser. This will usually be the most recent version of the browser available when you accept our quote.
Other Browsers
Only the browsers listed are used during cross browser testing, any others are not. Future versions of browsers and browsers unsupported by their vendor are not included.
Although websites might work with these browsers, we don't guarantee that they will.
Basic Browser Testing
For those clients that have not purchased cross browser testing we will choose a browser to develop and test your website with (usually Google Chrome). Although websites might work with other browsers, we don't guarantee that they will.
