The Police & Crime Commissioner (PCC) for Merseyside is an elected representative who oversees Merseyside Police and holds accountable the Chief Constable.

The Brief:

Merseyside PCC's office instructed Glow to modernise the PCC website to represent the office of the PCC and inform the public.

The site needed to be friendly, accessible and mobile responsive.

The Result:

Glow has launched a refreshed website for Merseyside’s Police and Crime Commissioner (PCC), Emily Spurrell, to meet the latest stringent accessibility guidelines for UK Public Sector websites.

The website was created to meet WCAG2.0 AA accessibility guidelines and built on the latest content management platform, ready to take the organisation into the next phase of its increasingly digital future.

In addition to the PCC website, Glow also refreshed the technology and accessibility for the Victim Care Merseyside website, which provides victims of crime with advice and information, and signposts them to organisations which can offer support.

The public can easily find out what’s happening and get involved.

Great service from Glow - we are thrilled with the website
