Glow have sponsored the the Liverpool Chamber Arts Award. Glow created a location based website which shows each of the entries and where it could be found.
The award was created to recognise, encourage and reward the business community’s long tradition of arts patronage in the city. It is aimed at the businesses and the public sector, such as schools and hospitals.
The award will be presented to the Liverpool business or organisation judged to have commissioned the most impressive work of public artwork in Liverpool that has been on display since 2005.
The Chamber has secured four of the most respected authorities in the city’s arts scene as judges for the prestigious event: Christopher Grunenberg, the director of Tate Liverpool; Lewis Biggs, director of the Liverpool Biennial; Nic Corke, Chair of the Chamber's Arts & Culture Committee, Brenda Parkerson from Arts & Business.
The Award has been made possible thanks to the kind sponsorship of former Chamber Chairman and Trustee of the Royal Academy, John Entwistle. The winner will be announced at Liverpool Chamber’s annual dinner on 2 December at the BT Liverpool Convention Centre.
